The Floral family

Rose, jasmine, violet, lavender... The Floral family takes us out in the garden, or to the great outdoors. The aromas are precious, sophisticated and delicate. Floral aromas are usually associated with the world of perfume.  But why not combine flowers with chocolate? Indeed, the aromas of some cocoa beans are already tinged with sweet floral notes. Floral aromas can be obtained by brewing or infusing flowers, and essential oils can also be used.

Combining chocolate with floral notes can be a tricky undertaking. Indeed, some of the aromas are strong, even harsh, while others are very subtle, so it’s crucial to find the right balance to highlight both extremes!
