The collection came about in 1988, when Michel Richart set out to introduce connoisseurs of dark chocolate to the rich aromatic palette of cocoa beans. Floral notes, roasted notes, fruity notes, and more... Like wine grapes, every variety of cocoa bean has its specific aroma, derived from the region where it is grown. Because each square is thin (only 0.08 of an inch), the chocolate melts more quickly in your mouth, smoothly revealing its aromatic notes for a tasting experience that’s simultaneously raw and subtle.
