Glazed chestnuts (large)

Made from traditional varieties, our glazed chestnuts are made locally according to a time-honored process in the Ardèche region (France)

It starts with picking and a careful selection of only the most perfect chestnuts. Then they are wrapped in muslin and candied in a syrup with vanilla pods and just the right amount of sugar. They are glazed to give them a finishing shine and to preserve the flavor and tender texture through and through. The finished product is wrapped individually by hand in silver paper, ready to be savored!
